Love Mosaics, a series of stories that when put together, form a larger picture of the complex relationships within the African-American Society.

That is the definition that comes to mind when explaining the work that is Love Mosaics. A series of stories which examine the challenges that African Americans face in their relationships to define the bigger picture of the Black family.

Love Mosaics is a new literary series which tells the very different stories of love within the Black community. Written by a trio of writers comprised of 2 females and 1 male, which make up the genius that is Tatu, each story brings to life the many ups and downs associated with love and life in general, while introducing us to characters that become as real as the friends and family we know and love in our own lives.

The first “tile” in the Love Mosaics series is Indigo Blue , which tells the story of Indigo, a confident single mother ready to find love. In this story, Indigo is introduced to Kofi, an attractive, successful brother whose previous experiences in love have left him on the surface, bitter and emotionally unavailable. Yet underneath, he's just as ready for love as Indigo. Together, they must prevail over obstacles brought on not only by their relationship with each other, but also by the problems that arise from their relationships with ex-lovers, friends and family members. Their story is a test of love that teaches the reader patience, trust and most importantly, letting go.

“5 Star Rating”
Love Mosaics is a familiar story of boy meets girl, boy and girl are attracted to each other and attempt a relationship. The unique aspect of Indigo Blue is that each character is so believable and real, the reader can almost feel the actual emotion that they are reading. Author, Tatu does a masterful job at developing each character and allowing their personalities to add depth and clarity to this story. Indigo is a single mother who after several failed attempts with her child's father has almost given up on having real love for herself. Kofi is a man who has been made bitter by previous relationships, he has decided that it is best to deal with women at arm's length…. that is until he meets Indigo. Join Indigo and Kofi on the roller coaster ride as they attempt to try love one more time. There is betrayal, lies and deceit that add some twists to this well written story. I look forward to more to come from this author.” -- Reviewed by Tanya R. Bates for EbonyAuthors.com

“I read Love Mosaics' Indigo Blue by Tatu. You all know that I'm pretty much fed up with romance novels but I have to give much props to Tatu for writing a fine, highly enjoyable book. If you haven't heard of Tatu, check them out. Tatu is composed of three authors. How the writing duties are split, I do not know. I do know that I loved the book and strongly recommend it.” -- Reviewed by Thumper of AALBC.com

“A group of three friends joined together to co-author a novel under the unique name of Tatu. Their collective efforts produced LOVE MOSAICS: INDIGO BLUE, a contemporary romance that was a pleasure to read.

Indigo is tired of empty promises men make and refuses to play the fool any longer. She has a son to raise on her own, while the father is in and out of prison. She reluctantly agrees to go out on a blind date set up by her best friend Kenya and meets Kofi, a guy who just might be worth her time.

Kofi immediately likes Indigo and the vibe between them is strong. He is a good guy, but has issues of his own. His previous girlfriend left him without an explanation when her unmentioned boyfriend was released from prison. When he learns of Indigo's situation he sees history repeating itself and wants no part of it, but she has already left an impression.

Tatu has their fingers on the pulse of the dynamics of today's dating environment. They also have the female and male psyche down to a science. The characters are well-developed and the storyline gives the readers a glimpse into the dilemmas of men and women, without being one-sided. The language is current with that of adults in their twenties and thirties. LOVE MOSAICS: INDIGO BLUE is an enjoyable read that I would recommend to others.” -- Reviewed by Aiesha Flowers of The RAWSISTAZ™ Reviewers

This was an excellent read!!!! Once I started it I couldn't put it down. It was filled with drama, passion, and love. I highly recommend this book to everyone. It is a page-turner, and don't let the size fool you. I await the next book. WHERE IS IT???-- Reviewed by Denise Henderson of C&B Books Distribution

Hot Debut From This Terrific Trio!
Indigo is a single mother who wants no more drama from men. Since her son's father became incarcerated, Indigo has been making a way for herself and her son. But when her friend Kenya sets her up with Kofi, she's not so sure he's the real thing. Kofi has had his share of bad relationships and doesn't let any woman get close to him. He hopes that Indigo has the key to unlock his heart. Just when things start to heat up between them, Indigo's ex comes home from jail. Kenya is also becoming less trustworthy as a friend.

Love Mosaics Indigo Blue is an ambitious debut novel by a trio of authors (2 female, 1 male) that make up Tatu. I loved the drama and the quiet sensuality between Kofi and Indigo. Indigo Blue is a grand start to the Love Mosaics series. The next book in the series is titled Love Mosaics: Reflections by Tatu and is slated to be released this winter. --- Reviewed by Radiah Hubbert of Urban-Reviews.com
