We are working with other talented writers to get their manuscripts into print. We are authors and we know the challenge of getting thoughts to paper and those pages to the readers. Your submission won't get out of the big publishing companies' mail room if an agent didn't hand deliver it. And then if it doesn't read like an established author's work, it still ends up in the discard pile.

A corporate environment where we are underrepresented only focuses on what will sell as opposed to what we want to read. The Black voice is not monotone. We sing freedom and wail the cries of captivity. We celebrate life and eulogize death. We know joy and keep company with sorrow. Who better to know the ins and outs, ups and downs of being Black than us? We live it to tell it.
